2. The Train to Heaven
It's an unusual sculpture of the train which
is 30 meters long and it weighs 80 tons.
It is said to be the largest urban sculpture
in Poland. It's a symbol of striving for impossible things. Hopefully it gives vitality
to people living here.
3. The main square
It's a splendid, colourful place worth visiting. You can find there the Old City Hall together with the New City Hall and the Fountain.
The annual Christmas market takes place there.
4. ZOO and Africarium
This Africarium is the only one oceanarium devoted to the flora and fauna of only one continent.
5. The Old City Hall
It stands at the centre of the main square. This Gothic building is one of the main landmarks of Wrocław.
6. Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archidiocese of Wrocław and a landmark of the city. The cathedral, located in the Ostrów Tumski district, is a Gothic church with Neo-Gothic additions.
7. Multimedia Fountain
It is the biggest fountain in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe. It was initiated on 4th June 2009 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first free elections in the postwar Poland. During the special night shows there are animations, photos and films projected on water. Many of them show
the important events from the history of
the city and Poland.
8. Tumski Bridge
It is also called Lovers Bridge, Cathedral Bridge or Green Bridge. The bridge is full of love locks which lovers leave to cherish their feelings. An important part of
the ceremony is to throw the key into
the Odra river.
9. SkyTower
It is the highest apartment building
in the country. It houses offices, shops
and luxurious apartments. There is also
a vintage point and a lift takes tourists
to the 49th floor in one minute.

Gotycki kościół katedralny biskupów wrocławskich znajdujący się na Ostrowie Tumskim we Wrocławiu, zwany matką wszystkich kościołów śląskich.
7. Multimedialna Fontanna
To największa fontanna w Polsce i jedna
z największych w Europie. Powstała 4 czerwca 2009 z okazji 20 rocznicy pierwszych wolnych wyborów w powojennej Polsce. W czasie nocnych pokazów muzycznych, na wodzie wyświetlane są animacje, zdjęcia i filmy. Wiele z nich pokazuje ważne wydarzenia z polskiej historii.
8. Most Tumski
Most Zakochany, Most Katedralny to jego inne nazwy. Na moście zakochani zawieszają kłódki chcąc przypieczętować swoje uczucie.
Aby dopełnić tradycji muszą wyrzucić kluczyk od kłódki do Odry.
9. Sky Tower
To najwyższy apartamentowiec w Polsce. Oprócz luksusowych apartamentów mieści biura i sklepy. Na 49 piętrze znajduje się punkt widokowy, do którego dotrzemy windą w jedną minutę.
